I was just reading through 1 Samuel chapter 20 and what I saw was the bond between David and Jonathan. What captured my attention was this line where Jonathan said to David, "Whatever you want me to do, I will do it for you. "
Jonathan went into great lengths to ensure that David is safe and away from his father, Saul.
How I wish I can be a better friend to others and have a good christian friend by my side. I know what a friend I have in Jesus but I guess it doesn't hurt to pray for one. Meanwhile, I shall remain contented with what I have, even if I am left alone with Jesus. =)
