Today I was just thinking how Jesus would have felt, when he had to be reduced from something to nothing, the first to the last.
Do you know what it means to be last?
"If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all."
Jesus knew He had to be the very last because he needed to serve mankind, the whole humanity. Only to be rejected by many and left alone nearing his death.
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve,
and to give his life as a ransom for many."
There's just this overwhelming misery when I place myself in His shoes.
But since His misery gave us joy, may our misery give Him honor.
