CCT
In CCT, soldiers learnt fighting moves. Though the course is short and it does not make them martial-arts experts, they have acquired the basic skills to defend themselves against their enemies.
Be on your guard, stand firm in faith, be a man of courage; do everything in love. (1 Cor 16:13-14)
//Here are my thoughts.//
Initially, we are all in this state where evil forces had a grip on us. We were constricted in it's ultimate lock. Fortunately, God released us from its' lock and offered to give us all that we need to win the battle. As long as we acknowledge our inherent weakness and put our faith in God, God will promise us victory in the end. He will give us strength to wrestle with with the evil forces which never seems to back off or admit defeat. He will give us courage to face the dreadful.
This battle is currently on-going and it is not only fought on a personal level. Hence, every believer ought to help their fellow-in-Christ to shake the bad guys off and motivate them, in love! =)___________________________________________________________
Range
Range, an activity where soldiers try their best for marksmanship. It may seem easy to hit down the targets, but there's a lot of technique involved.
It's interesting to know that the the Greek word hamartia (ἁμαρτία) is usually translated as sin in the New Testament. In Classical Greek, it means "to miss the mark" or "to miss the target".
//Here are my thoughts.//
Initially, we are clueless about how to hit the target. As hard as we try, we find that we miss the target, like it's a habit. And just when things seem hopeless for bobo shooters like us, a Subject Matter Expert(SME) extended his helping hand. As long as we accept his help and place our faith in Him, he will teach us what we need to know. Of course, we need daily practice to perfect the techniques so that on the final test date, we will hit the mark. =)
