What the title of this post suggest is nothing new. But I saw it this way when I read about how Jaime Teo talked about her daughter, and decide to name her daughter Renee (which means born again) .
"It's a very apt meaning for our lives because when the baby comes we'll all be born again."
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
盗 贼 来 ， 无 非 要 偷 窃 ， 杀 害 ， 毁 坏 ； 我 来 了 ， 是 要 叫 羊 （ 或 作 ： 人 ） 得 生 命 ， 并 且 得 的 更 丰 盛 。(约10:10)
We are indeed blessed, in the sense that we can read the old testament and the new testament. Just as those oldies (who truly knew God) looked forward to Jesus' birth, let us come to truly know Him and look forward to His second coming.
And of course, bearing in mind that death took place before resurrection.
