If there is one thing that caught my attention, it is a parallel. The happiness of getting back my pink ic and the joy when God gets back with his prodigal son. Of course, the similarity is the end, not the 'storyline'.
Though joy exceeds happiness, I can totally understand why God will want to hold a banquet and slay a fattened calf when his child comes back to Him. It calls for a big celebration. OH YEA!
