Listen

We got the best score so far. So it seems that we are ready for war.
But I find it a pity that the best soldiers are not the best civilised people.
Can they queue up properly for food? No, they cut queues.
Can they sit where they are allocated? No, they sit where they want to.
Yes, they fell on deaf ears. What about us?

The Lord said
"Stop listening to instruction, my son,
and you will stray from the words of knowledge." (Proverbs 19:27)

How are we responding to his instructions today?

"Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like."
(James 1:23-24)
