It said something like this, " Stop trying so hard to live for God, Let God live in you."
Some detonation device blew my mind away.
So often I find myself putting so much effort to live out the life that God called me to live. However, I realised that my will is not God's will and that his ways are not my ways. Some things require more than effort and willpower to change and what is important is that I let God take control and let Him live in me.
Suddenly, this part of Casting Crown's The Altar and the Door made so much sense...
Jesus, I'm trying so hard to stop trying so hard
Just let You be who You are
Lord, who You are in me
