What I was told
1. Don't take Singapore's stability for granted.
2. It's only when you are in NS that you truely learn to appreciate your civilian life.
3. It's not what you leave behind but what you gain in the days ahead.
1. Without stability can you still pursue higher education and acquire higher quality of living?
2. You live without somethings so that you can cherish them better (when you have them).
3. 做人要拿得起放得下, 向前看.
God sees our life from beginning to end. He may lead us through a storm at age thirty so we can endure a hurricane at age sixty. An instrument is useful only if it's in the right shape. A dull ax or bent screwdriver needs attention, and so do we. A good blacksmith keeps his tools in shape. So does God.Should God place you on his anvil, be thankful. It means he thinks you're still worth reshaping.
So much perspiration.
So much done in such a short period.
