"AT THE HEART OF MATURE MASCULINITY IS A SENSE OF BENEVOLENT RESPONSIBILITY TO LEAD, PROVIDE FOR AND PROTECT WOMEN IN WAYS APPROPRIATE TO A MAN’S DIFFERING RELATIONSHIPS."
~ from "RECOVERING BIBLICAL MANHOOD AND WOMANHOOD"
Read this today and I was wondering ... about the following things:
1. Even before leading woman, if there are adequate opportunities for every man to lead others ?
2. Is this the more important issue - that there might a lack of guys rising to the call of biblical manhood ?
3. Is topic of biblical manhood poorly covered in my church, causing something undesirable outcomes (e.g. not-so-godly fathers groomed)
The church exists to nurture the believers of the next generation and perhaps the downfall happens when the previous generation followed Christ half-heartedly or absent-mindedly. This hit me as a strong reminder as I thought about every father in church should be a godly father - being a role model to his children and other children.

God, may men arise and yearn to be molded to be more like you. Help us to behold the weight of your glory and the purpose you created us to be men.
