A few planes have been crashing recently. And it drove me to look for this

Just had that thought that accidents like these are usually reduced to facts and figures. We might not come to realised that many innocent lives were lost and someone can never hold a dialogue with a family member again. Should we be bothered about this?
Ultimately, what does it mean to you when you read news like these ?
