Depending on your wits is not the way...

We live in a hedonistic society. Things should continue to improve. Things should be done efficiently. Tomorrow will then be better than today.

What caught my attention is the immediate need to source for solution when problems surface. Now, think quick on your feet. What do we normally do when we face a problem? We will see if our knowledge is able to help us tide over a crisis. Based on what we know, we come up with possible ways to deal with a problem. Step-by-step, we go through the feasibility studies and implement whatever that is best. That's what we were taught to do in school projects, right?

So we brainstorm, study and apply our ideas to move on. Great!
NO. Wait a minute, we left something out. GOD.
Very often he becomes the last resort. We tire our brains first then we hand this problem to God. Therein lies this problem that we want control over our lives, certain areas of our lives.

God makes things work. He made the stars to shine. He made the fishes to swim. He made the Earth to spin. He is in control of all things. So let go and let God. Pray for guidance and he will open a way for you.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him; and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

When things work out, remember to thank Him!
